This is something I’ve been wondering about since the Iowa results came in, considering they ended up basically tied.
I expected HRC to win Iowa by at least 7-8 percentage points, and lose New Hampshire by maybe 5 points. From there, it should be clear sailing to the nomination. When Bernie Sanders declared his intent to run for the Democratic nomination, I figured it would be a great tune-up for Hillary Clinton, getting her prepared to hit somewhere around the 58% mark, or higher, in the general election.
Sanders has clearly overperformed in the first two states, and now we are looking at a tie in Nevada:

At this rate, even when HRC wins the nomination, she’s going to look weak, and worse yet, there are reports of BS fans claiming they won’t be voting for her in the general election.
I propose we ban talk about Bernie Sanders, at least until after Super Tuesday. We can’t allow Sanders to gain more followers, who may not vote for Clinton in November.
The ban wouldn’t even last for three weeks, and after Clinton takes a commanding lead on March 1st, we can allow Sanders to be discussed again, provided that he does not win more than Vermont on Super Tuesday.
